ODD FELLOWS AND REBEKAHS PILGRIMAGE FOR YOUTH

The Independent Order of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs have sponsored and supported the Pilgrimage For Youth annually since 1949.  This unique educational program brings high school students from around the world to study and participate in discussions concerning world affairs, as well as making new and lifelong friends.

Important Updates to 2023 Tour

  • Passports will not be required for the 2023 Tour. (still required for Canadian students)
  • We will not be requiring Out of Country insurance for this year's tour. (still required for Canadian students)
  • COVID-19 vaccinations will not be required, but are strongly recommended, for tour participants.
  • Delegates will be required to provide proof of a negative COIVD-19 test 24 hours prior to the tour start date (tour begins July 1st, 2023).


2023 Tour Info

It is once again time to start the selection process for delegates that will be attending the 75th

Pilgrimage for Youth Tour. The tour dates are July 1-July 14 and begin and end in Philadelphia.


The cost for this year’s tour is the same as last year, $2,000.00.


This year we had 85 delegates representing 23 jurisdictions. The speech contest winner this

year ended in a tie and therefore it was determined that each winner would receive $2,000.00

scholarships. The winners were Amy Pham (Ohio) and Sophia Cox (Oregon). Congratulations,

to both scholarship winners.


Our future is our youth. The vision statement on the opening page of our website says:

Gateway to the Future Standing on the Foundation of the Past. This program epitomizes the very

fabric of our Order in promoting friendship, love and truth. The best recruitment tool we have is

right in front of us: The Pilgrimage for Youth Program. Please be a part of our future growth and

promote and sponsor a delegate!!


Tour Dates: July 1-13, 2023

Delegate fees: $2,000.00

First deposit due: January 1, 2023, ($1,000.00)

Final payment due along with delegate application: April 15, 2023

Staff and Tour Leader applications due by November 1, 2022

Tour Leader fees: $1,600.00 (if selected)

Delegates must be 16/17 years old and have at least one year of high school remaining to be

eligible.
